Parimal Suklabaidya lays foundation stone of multiple projects in Borjalenga
Jan. 15: State Minister for Forests and Environment, Excise and Fisheries Parimal Suklabaidya laid the foundation stones of multiple projects in Dholai’s Borjalenga Development Block on Friday. The foundation stones were laid of :
- construction of guard wall at Irongmara Bazaar at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh
- foundation stone of a cultural hall of Rabindra Pathagar under UNTIED fund at a cost of Rs 25 lakh
- infrastructural development of Dwarbond Shiv Mandir through Assam Darshan Project in the financial year 2020-2021 at an expense of Rs 10 lacs
- foundation stone for the construction of Small Bio-Floc fish farm at Borjalenga under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) at an estimated cost of Rs. 7.50 lakh.
Moreover, on the day, the Minister handed over the grant letters to the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).
Speaking during the occasion, Parimal Suklabaidya said, “After the BJP government came to power, the tide of development could be noticed in entire Dholai constituency. With the sincere efforts of the Narendra Modi government at the Center and the state government led by Sarbananda Sonowal, the communication system has undergone a radical change. During the Congress rule development works were not at all done in Dholai.
Addressing a meeting at the Irongmara Rabindra Pathghar on the occasion of the inaugural function, Minister Parimal Shuklavaidya further said that the government was spending crores of rupees on the overall development of the people and it was important to ensure proper utilization of the funds allocated by the government. He directed the local panchayat representatives to keep a sharp eye on the quality of work.
Speaking on the occasion, Barajalenga Block Anchalik Panchayat President Subodh Das praised the role of Parimal Suklabaidya in developing Dholai. Lakshmi Rani Yadav, ZP member of west Dholai,Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Executive engineer PWD, Rafiqul Haque, District Fishery Officer, Sushil Ranjan Dhar, President, BJP Barajalenga Block Division also spoke on the occasion. Irongmara GP President Prabir Bhattacharya, District Media Incharge Mohitosh Tanti, Rabindra Pathaghar President Nirmalendu Sharma Choudhury, Borjalenga Mandal Yuva Morcha President Sujit Kumar Das, Sudhanshu Archarya and others were present.
