Out of 15 new elected MLA’s in Barak, 6 are graduates, 3 HS pass, 4 HSLC pass & 2 VIII pass
May 3: Out of the 126 Assembly constituencies in Assam, 15 of them are spread in the three districts of Barak Valley. In Cachar, there are 7 assembly seats, Karimganj has got 5 assembly constituencies and Hailakandi has 3 assembly seats. In the just concluded Assembly elections in Assam, the results of which were declared on Sunday, 15 lucky candidates from different parties won the battle of ballots. Out of 15 new elected MLA’s in Barak Valley, 6 are graduates, 3 HS pass, 4 HSLC pass & 2 are VIIIth class pass.
