Only Covaxin to be administered in Silchar on 24 July

July 23: Once again, it seems that the stock of Covishield vaccine has exhausted. In a message circulated by Medical & Health Officer-I, Urban FW Unit, Silchar on Friday, it was informed that only Covaxin for 18 plus category will be available on 24 July, 2021 in Silchar town.

A total of 300 doses (only 2nd dose) of Covaxin will be administered in Silchar on Saturday at Durga Sankar Patshala, Ambicapatty. Out of the 300 doses, 150 doses will be provided through online slot booking and the rest 150 through onspot registration. Only those persons who have received their 1st dose Covaxin will be provided the 2nd dose.

For those who want to avail Covishield in Silchar may have to wait till the arrival of further stock.
