Shilpangan to launch bilingual half yearly e-journal ‘Art Echo’, articles invited

Dec. 20: Shilpangan, Silchar is launching their bilingual half yearly e-journal “ART ECHO” for the month of January 2021. With the growing demand from the professionals, researcher, teachers and contributors, it has now been inducted into “ART ECHO” journal. This will be published twice a year. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, Shilpangan has decided to launch the e-version of ‘Art Echo’ which was already launched as print version in 2011.

The Editorial Board of ‘Shilpangan’ invites substantial papers encompassing diverse topics on visual art and culture, written either in English or Bengali for the peer-reviewed journal ART ECHO (ISSN 2348-5337).ART ECHO is a bilingual half yearly journal on art and culture, being published by Shilpangan Silchar, Assam since 2011, which covers both academic and cultural fields simultaneously and reflects the ethnicity of the North East India.

• Art and Science
• Performance Arts.
• Art and Religion.

Authors Guidelines:

• Articles must not be more than 2000- 2500 words, including notes and references.
• Abstract of 150 -200 words and 4 – 7 keywords must be provided with the article.
• Picture, graphs and charts need to be prepared in MS office (word/Excel) and also jpeg or other formats.
• Papers should not have been simultaneously submitted for publication to another journal or book.
• The list of references or bibliography at the end of the article will have all and only those sources (books, articles in journals, contributions in edited volumes and online documents) that are cited within the text.
• For referencing the contributors must follow APA 6^th Edition guidelines.
• Plagiarism in any form constitutes a serious violation of the most basic principles of scholarly writing and cannot be tolerated.

Rs.500 will be charged for publishing articles in the e-journal. The last date for submission of full paper is 20 January, 2021.
