Once again 18 persons dies in Assam due to COVID-19 on Thursday, tally rises to 414

Sept. 10: On Thursday,18 deaths due to novel coronavirus were registered in Assam. It needs mention here that on Wednesday also, 18 persons died in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death tally of the state has now gone upto 414. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Very sad & anguished to inform that 18 more COVID19 positive patients have succumbed to the disease. My condolences to all the families. We stand by you in this hour of grief.” The deceased were identified as:

• Rina Pathak (55) of Cachar
• Ranjit Gogoi (49) of Charaideo
• Horihor Kalita (65) & Debabala Hazarika (72) of Lakhimpur
• Rajen Hazarika (64) & Bijoy Deka (74) of Kamrup Metro
• Dhaneswar Thakuria (78) & Chandrakanta Barman (60) of Kamrup Rural
• Minaram Bora (72) of Baksa
• Shreya Ghosh (14) of Nagaon
• Gitanjali Bora (45) & Rebo Orang (61) of Golaghat
• Anu Hazarika (63) & Gopal Borthakur (78) of Jorhat
• Gajen Das (55) of Barpeta
• Sanjib Phukan (53) of Dibrugarh.
