On your 95th birthday, Baba, I bow my head in gratitude, written by Kanad Purakayastha

//Kanad Purakayastha//
Today, as you turn 95, Baba, my heart feels heavier and fuller at the same time. Heavier with gratitude for all that you have silently endured for us, and fuller with pride for the life you have lived.
Ninety-five years is not just a number — it is a living history of sacrifice, values, courage, and unconditional love. You taught us lessons not through long speeches, but through your actions: how to stand tall in adversity, how to remain honest even when it was difficult, and how to put family above self.
As your son, I know I can never repay what you have given me — your sleepless nights, your silent prayers, your constant strength that became the foundation of my own life. Whatever I am today carries your reflection in it. Every step I take, every value I hold close, bears your imprint.
Seeing you today fills my eyes with tears — tears of respect, love, and humility. God has been kind to us to let us celebrate this rare and blessed milestone with you. Your presence itself is our greatest wealth.
On your 95th birthday, Baba, I bow my head in gratitude. May your days continue to be peaceful, your heart content, and your blessings always guide us. I remain, as always, your proud and grateful son.
Happy 95th Birthday, Baba.
(Needless to mention that, it is written to Kabindra Purakayastha on his 95th Birthday)
