দরং জেলার পাখারিঘাট সার্কলের এই আমিন দলিল সংক্রান্ত কাজে অর্থদাবি করেছিলেন। অভিযোগ পেয়ে ভিজি্ল্যান্স অ্যান্টি করাপশন শাখা জাল পাতে। দর কষাকষি করে রাসায়নিক মিশ্রিত টাকা পাঠানো হয় অভিযোগকারীকে দিয়ে। ওই টাকা হাতে তুলে নিতেই ভিজিল্যান্স কর্মীরা তাকে ধরে ফেলে।
way2barak, Sept.7: The zero tolerance policy adopted by the state government has resulted in arrest of a Lat Mondal of Patharighat Circle Office on Wednesday in Assam. The Lat Mondal of the circle office was identified as Hari Das Singha of Kachua PS in Nagaon. He was caught red-handed by the Vigilance and Anti- Corruption Department, while accepting bribe for facilitating bail matter of the complainant.
Taking to his twitter handle, Special DGP Assam GP Singh wrote, “Hari Das Singha Lat Mondal of Patharighat Circle Officer Darrang District has been trapped and arrested red handed today by team of @DIR_VAC_ ASSAM while accepting demanded money for land mutation of the complainant.”

A complaint was received at this wing that Das had demanded a sum of Rs. 20,000 for mutation of land measuring half bigha in the name of the complainant. Later, the bribe money was reduced to Rs. 18,000 which was further reduced to Rs. 17,000. Unwilling to pay the bribe, the complainant approached this directorate of vigilance and anti-corruption, Assam for taking necessary legal action against the above mentioned public servant.
