Northeastern states including Assam likely to witness rainfall on 3 & 4 February

Feb. 2: As per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Assam along with the rest of the Northeast are likely to witness isolated rainfall for the next two days. The IMD in its Weather Bulletin issued on 2 February stated, “Widespread light/ moderate rainfall with thunderstorm/ lightning likely over Northeast India on 04th & 05th February, 2022. Isolated heavy rainfall/ snowfall likely over Arunachal Pradesh & heavy rainfall over west Assam & Meghalaya on 04th February, 2022.” The weather department also predicted rainfall since Wednesday night.
