None found Covid+ve in Karimganj & Hailakandi on Thursday

Dec. 2: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Thursday too , Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 02 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 482 RAT tests and 59 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,923 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,494 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no person was found positive in Hailakandi on Wednesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 5,249 persons were vaccinated on Thursday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Thursday. The district has currently 09 active COVID cases, while no patient was discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Thursday. 692 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that no persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Thursday.
