None found Covid +ve in Assam on Sunday; 1 discharged & active cases 5 in the state

May 8: On Sunday, out of 109 tests, no person was detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,24,219. The positivity rate in the state is 0.00 percent. Further, on Sunday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,639. The recovery rate is 98.90 percent. 01 person was discharged during the day. There are at present 05 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 01 person tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
