None found Covid +ve in Assam on Monday; 2 discharged & active cases 8 in the state

May 2: On Monday, out of 389 tests, no persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,24,213. The positivity rate in the state is 0.00 percent. Further, on Monday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,639. The recovery rate is 98.90 percent. 02 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 08 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, no persons tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
