None found Covid positive in Hailakandi & Karimganj on Saturday

Oct. 30: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Saturday too, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 06 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 332 RAT tests and 48 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,912 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,479 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none was found positive in Hailakandi on Friday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,561 persons were vaccinated on Saturday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Friday. The district has currently 17 active COVID cases, while 02 patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Saturday. 713 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that 06 were detected positive in Karimganj on Friday.
