None found Covid positive in Hailakandi & Karimganj on Saturday

Sept. 25: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Saturday, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 08 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 441 RAT tests and 40 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,891 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,460 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 01 person was found positive in Hailakandi on Friday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 2,279 persons were vaccinated on Saturday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Saturday. The district has currently 13 active COVID cases, while 05 patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Saturday. 1,037 swab samples were collected during the day.
