None found Covid positive in Hailakandi & Karimganj on Friday

Oct. 15: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Friday, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 07 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 118 RAT tests and 06 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,901 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,471 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none was found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Friday. The district has currently 06 active COVID cases, while no patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Friday. 169 swab samples were collected during the day.
