None found Covid positive in Hailakandi, but 1 +ve in Karimganj on Monday

Oct. 4: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Monday, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 04 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 519 RAT tests and 60 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,894 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,467 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none was found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,200 persons were vaccinated on Monday.

Karimganj registered 01 fresh COVID cases on Monday. The district has currently 08 active COVID cases, while no patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Monday. 1,079swab samples were collected during the day.
