None found Covid positive in Hailakandi & 03 new cases in Karimganj on Monday

Sept. 20: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Monday, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 09 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 632 RAT tests and 57 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,890 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,458 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 01 person was found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.

Karimganj registered 03 fresh COVID cases on Monday. The district has currently 37 active COVID cases, while 05 patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Monday. 2,188 swab samples were collected during the day.
