Nodal Officer of Covid Care Centre at Foreigners’ Tribunal building in Cachar tests positive

July 26: Abhijit Dey posted as Nodal Officer in the COVID Care Centre at Foreigners’ Tribunal Building, Bahadurpur (Near Clock Tower), Rangpur in Cachar district tested positive on Sunday. His swab sample was collected on 22 July and his positive report came on 26 July. He was admitted on Sunday afternoon at the makeshift Covid Care Centre at Foreigners’ Tribunal, of which he was the Nodal Officer. As per sources, he came in contact with lab confirmed case. he is asymptomatic.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Abhijit Dey wrote, “I have been tested Covid-19 positive. I work as a Nodal officer at FT Building Covid Care Centre. I request all those who came in contact with me in last 3 days, please get tested.”
