No reduction in syllabus of HS 2nd year, exam to be held covering entire course: AHSEC

Oct. 6: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) on Wednesday informed that there would be no reduction in course contents for those students who would be appearing in Higher Secondary (HS) 2nd year examinations which will be conducted in 2022. There were speculations among many students that the AHSEC may curtail the syllabus. However, the doubts were dispelled by AHSEC on Wednesday.

Issuing a notification to this effect on 6 October, 2021, Secretary of AHSEC stated, “In connection with conduct of HS Final Examination, 2022, this is a general information to all the Principals of the Institutions/ Registrars of the universities having HS course under AHSEC that the Final Examination, 2022 will be held covering the full syllabus of H.S. 2nd year.”
