No Covid+ve in Karimganj but 1 in Hailakandi on Friday

Nov. 27: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Friday too, Hailakandi registered 01 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 05 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 389 RAT tests and 55 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,923 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,491 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none were found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 3,908 persons were vaccinated on Friday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Friday. The district has currently 13 active COVID cases, while no patients were discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Friday. 539 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that no persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Thursday.
