No Covid +ve cases in Hailakandi since last 3 days, 5 discharged on Monday

Aug. 23: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. Since the last three days, there have been no reports of any Covid-19 positive cases in the district.

Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 cases on Monday. The district has altogether 13 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 647 RAT tests and 59 RT-PCR tests were done. 05 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,862 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,426 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no persons were were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 3,991 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
