At 34,703, India reports lowest Covid cases in 111 days, 553 deaths registered

July 6: With 553 fresh fatalities, India recorded the lowest daily death toll in around 90 days while 34,703 new cases of coronavirus were reported, the lowest in 111 days, the Union Health Ministry said. With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases reached 3,06,19,932, while the death toll went up to 4,03,281. At present, there are 4,64,357 active cases in the country. The recovery rate has gone up to 97.17 percent. The total recoveries have reached 2,97,52,294. Till now, 35,75,53,612 people were vaccinated in India.
