Nibedita Bardhan, former teacher of Holy Cross School passes away

June 15: Nibedita Bardhan retired teacher of Holy Cross Higher Secondary School breathed her last on 13 June, 2021 in her home at Ullaskar Dutta Sarani, Silchar. She was 73. Her husband Late Bimal Kumar Bardhan was also a teacher of Holy Cross School, Silchar. Nibedita Bardhan. She retired from Holy Cross School in the year 2008. She was a diabetic patient.

The news of her death was deeply mourned by many of her former students of Holy Cross. Nibedita Bardhan was instrumental in shaping the future of thousand of young minds as she was a teacher of primary class. One of her former student said, “I still remember her and our days in Holy Cross. We used to call her Bardhan Miss. We all are very saddened by the news of her demise.” She worked meticulously in Silchar for the welfare of children. After her retirement from Holy Cross, she was also associated with a kindergarten school “Blooming Buds” in Silchar.

Nibedita Bardhan has left behind her only daughter Nilanjana Anup Kumar and only son Saptorshi Bardhan, son-in-law Anup Kumar, daughter in law Varsha Saptorshi Bardhan as well as her grand children Naina, Adi and Ved.
