NGO Prachestha felicitates eminent persons to commemorate their 1st foundation day

July 27: NGO Prachestha has successfully completed one year of its establishment. To commemorate the day, the all-ladies group of Prachestha undertook numerous activities on 22 July. First, they visited an old age home ‘Jeeban Deep Senior Citizen’s Home’ and spent quality time with the inmates. They provided lunch to the residents of the old age home.

On the same day, the members of Prochestha then visited Ujjala Foundation and distributed health drinks and hand santiser among the children of the foundation. The items were sponsored by one lady Sanchita, by being immensely impressed by the social service activities of the NGO.

On 25 July, Prochestha organised a programme in the hall of Madhya Sahar Sanskritik Sangstha, where they felicitated some of the eminent persons of the town. Present there were President of Prachestha Aloka Deb, Vice President Sunayana Paul, Secretary Rakhi Roy, Asstt Secretary Omrita Sinha, Treasurer Pomi Dev Dutta and others. Those who were accorded the felicitation by Prachestha are Swarnali Choudhury (Entrepreneur & social worker), Tinku Majumder (Advocate), Kabita Sengupta (Principal of Public HS School), Dilu Das (Secretary of Netaji Chatra Yuba Sangstha) and Mithun Roy (Social Worker). Apart from these individuals, two humanitarian organisations- Rising Youth Society and Udoy-er- Pothe were also felicitated.
