Next 24 hours very crucial for ailing Tarun Gogoi
Nov. 22: Former Chief Minister of Assam, Tarun Gogoi is still on mechaniccal ventilation support at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) after he suffered multiple organ disorder on Saturday. However, GMCH Superintendent Dr. Abhijit Sarma on Sunday morning informed that there has been a slight improvement in his condition though still he is not out of danger.
The oxygen level of the 86-years former Chief Minister has gone upto to 97 on Sunday morning. He is maintaining an oxygen saturation of 95-97 per cent. Dr. Abhijit Sarma said that the next 24 hours are very critical. The doctors at GMCH are in constant touch with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi and are following the treatment instruction given by them. Doctors informed that at present his blood pressure has become stable but his urine output is low.
