New office room of Lakhipur DSA inaugurated by MLA Rajdeep Goala

May 17: The new office room within the Lakhipur District Sports Association complex was inaugurated by local MLA cum President of the association, Rajdeep Goala. The inauguration of the office room was done by maintaining the norms of social distancing and by wearing face masks.

After cutting the ribbon, Rajdeep Goala said in the backdrop of the outbreak of COVID-19, the need of the hour is to increase the immunity among the people. He said, “As because till now there is no vaccine or medicine to fight the virus, so the only way out is to increase our immunity.” He also suggested to start sports activities in the newly built Lakhipur DSA by maintaining social distancing. He urged upon the committee members to seek necessary permission from the Deputy Commissioner in this connection.

Further, discussion was held regarding allotment of stalls to the applicants in the Lakhipur DSA complex. It was pointed out that to run the affairs of the sports association, money is required. So it was decided that the process of allotment of stalls should be done at the earliest.
