Neli Deb passes away at 80

way2barak, May 7: Mrs. Neli Deb, a respected and cherished resident of Malugram passed away on Tuesday at Green Heals Hospital. She was 80 years old. Her demise followed complications arising from multiple liver dysfunctions, for which she was undergoing treatment.

She is survived by her two devoted sons—Shri Probal Deb, staff member at the office of the Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations, Barak Valley Zone, Silchar, and Shri Piyal Deb, businessman and investigator with an insurance company. Her presence in their lives was not just maternal but guiding and inspirational.

Also mourning her loss are her beloved daughters-in-law, Smt. Reena Deb and Smt. Barnali Deb, who shared a bond with her marked by affection and respect. Her grandchildren, Smt. Parineeta Deb and Master Adrito Deb, were the light of her life.

Late Mrs. Neli Deb will be remembered not only by her immediate family but also by friends, neighbours, and well-wishers across Silchar, who knew her as a kind-hearted soul with an ever-welcoming smile. Her demise has left a void that words cannot fill, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
