National VP of BJP Baijayant Panda appointed Assam in-charge of the party

Nov. 14: Baijayant Panda, National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was appointed as the in-charge of Assam. Panda resigned from the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and joined BJP in 2019. Hewas also was a member of parliament in the Rajya Sabha for two terms from 2000 to 2009. The appointment of Panda as the in-charge of Assam just before the forthcoming assembly polls is of great significance. Meanwhile, the national spokesperson of BJP, Sambit Patra has been entrusted the charge of Manipur.
