Multiple projects implemented at Kashipur Tea Estate by Inner Wheel Club, Silchar

Aug 5: On Thursday, the members of Inner Wheel Club (IWC), Silchar successfully implemented multiple humanitarian projects at Kashipur Tea Estate in Cachar district. As part of the ‘Project under Earth Care’, the
members of the Inner Wheel Club of Silchar planted a number of tea plant saplings at the nearest at Kashipur.

Further, IWC, Silchar under a Project on Health and Hygiene, handed over three cartoons of mask ,sanitizers and gloves respectively,to the Manager of Kashipur Tea Garden. These things have been given to him for distribution among all the female workers in the said tea garden.

As it was the 5th day of the Breast Feeding Week, the members of the Inner Wheel Club of Silchar,have organised an awareness programme with the help of the Asha Workers among the lady workers of the tea garden. The programme was based on the importance of breast feeding of new born child. The club members also distributed various nutritious food items among the womenfolk.
