Mridul Yadav spearheads united front against drug menace in Cachar

way2barak, May 28:  In a determined bid to reinforce the district’s fight against illegal drug trafficking, District Commissioner of Cachar, Mridul Yadav, presided over the NCORD (Narco Coordination Centre) meeting at the Conference Hall of the DC’s Office here on Wednesday. The meeting served as a strategic platform to bolster inter-agency coordination and sharpen the collective resolve against the proliferation of contraband substances under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Under the insightful leadership of DC Yadav, the session underscored the critical importance of a unified approach in tackling the rising threat of narcotics in the region. By bringing together key enforcement authorities, intelligence units, and administrative stakeholders, the Cachar administration sent out a strong and clear message ,drug trafficking will not be tolerated, and a zero-tolerance policy is firmly in place.

Addressing the gathering, DC Mridul Yadav emphasized the necessity of seamless information sharing, timely enforcement action, and public awareness campaigns to curb the menace from its roots.
