More than 20,000 patients cured in Assam with 1349 patients discharged on Thursday
July 23: On Thursday, 1349 patients were discharged from Assam. With this, the number of recovery in Assam has crossed the 20,000-mark and reached 20,699. At present, there are 8019 active cases in the state. Further, 4 more COVID-19 patients died in Assam on Thursday, thereby taking the death tally to 70.
Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Discharge Alert ~ 1349 patients are back home, happy. In moments like these, such information – we crossed 20,000 cured patients mark – bring cheers. Also second day in a row, our discharge figures on July 23 are higher than new caes. Kudos to all who made this possible.”
