Mira Borthakur Goswami gets appointed as President of Assam Pradesh Mahila Congress

March 23: AICC general secretary KC Venugopal in a release notified the appointment of Mira Borthakur Goswami as President of Assam Pradesh Mahila Congress. She had unsuccessfully contested the last assembly elections in Assam from Guwahati west constituency. Goswami was congratulated by Assam Congress chief Bhupen Bora on her new assignment.
