Merciless torture of a 6 year old girl by her father in Silchar; FIR lodged, father absconding
May 4: If the allegations mentioned in the FIR and the testimony of the neighbours are true, than an incident which has become viral in social media will definitely give goosebumps to many. The father was alleged to have standing on the chest of his 6 years old daughter thereby hurting her navel. In a video which has become viral in social media, the man can be seen thrashing this small kid with a log of wood. In another scene, he was mercilessly thrashing the baby girl with a belt. He even tied the kid with his motorbike and dragged her on the ground. But the cruelty crossed all limits, when the man tortured his own daughter making her naked and hanging her with a rope.
Unable to bear such type of torture and the shrieks and cries of the baby girl, her neighbour, Nizam Uddin Laskar went for the rescue of the minor. This made the brutal father more angry and he even physically assaulted Nizam Uddin for preventing him in torturing the baby. The incident took place at Athal Basti in Silchar.
Finally, the neighbour Nizam Uddin Laskar who saved the minor girl from the hands of alleged cruel father lodged an FIR at Ghungoor Police Outpost. In the FIR, the complainant alleged that the accused father even attacked him at night for preventing him in beating the kid. He stated, “Suddenly, the accused sprinkled red chilly powder on the face and eyes.”
Meanwhile, as per the investigating police officials, the moment they got the information, they went to the spot to find out the details. Curiously, the family members of the tortured child are all tight lipped and are not revealing the reason why the man was doing such merciless atrocities upon that small kid. As per police sources, the accused father is absconding. The 6-year-old girl has been sent to Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) for check up.
Local people have informed that the accused has married not once or twice, but for four times. The child whom he was torturing was born from his 1st wife. He is often found to abuse one or the other members of the family under the influence of liquor and drugs. He even has physically abused his neighbours when they tried to prevent him from torturing his family members. As such, now even the neighbours do not usually interfere in his family matters. However, when things went out of control, the neighbour Nizam Uddin Laskar filed a police complaint. The police is investigating the matter and are hopeful of nabbing the accused soon.
