Meeting of APDCL held to discuss damages of electrical installation in various parts of Cachar

April 20: Since the last few days, heavy rains accompanied with storm and lightning has been playing havoc in various parts of Cachar district along with the rest of the state. This has resulted in disruption of power supply in many parts of Cachar district.

It is in this connection, a meeting with Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) was convened today evening in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar for details discussion on damage of electrical installation in various parts of the district due to recent cyclonic storm and its restoration measures taken by the authority till date.

CEO, APDCL, AGM, SDE of APDCL were present in the meeting and apprised house regarding action taken for restoration of electrical installation in various places of Cachar district. The meeting was also attended by MLA, Udharbhond Mihir Kanti Shome and officials of DDMA, Cachar.
