Meeting held to discuss about alternate road for civilian areas adjoining AFS, Kumbhirgram

Feb. 10: A meeting was held on Monday at 22 AFS, Kumbhirgram in Cachar to discuss about issues & concerns pertaining to alternate road for civilian colonies adjoining AFS, Kumbhirgram. Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, Keerthi Jalli requested the Air Force to allow movement of civilians until the alternate road repair works are taken up.

She also requested for one hour extension of the entry hours to facilitate public which was agreed upon. The meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli was attended by MLA, Udharbond Mihir Kanti Shome, Stn Cdr, AFS, Kumbhirgram, Circle Officer, Udharbond, other officers of AF, Managers of Kumbha & Kumbhirgram Tea Estates and public representatives.
