Marwari Yuva Manch offers food to about 4,000 flood victims in last 5 days as part of ‘AnnaDaan’ project

May 23: Setting an example of social harmony in Cachar district, which is at present battling the devastating floods, Marwari Yuva Manch Silchar Titans exhibited a unique example of service, where as a part of its Anna Daan initiative, since last 5 days, about 4,000 people in remote flood affected areas were provided Khichdi, milk & biscuits. Also the Manch has distributed more than 300 ration kits (rice, pulses, potatoes, soybean, oil, milk, and biscuits) and also provided more than 2,000 liters of drinking water.

Apart from this, the forum has also supported the District Administration, Cachar with 1,500 tetra packs of milk, 50 cartoon biscuits and 1500 packets of soybeans for proper nutrition of the victims living in the relief camps. Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli expressed her gratitude for this cooperation of the forum.

Manch President Dhiraj Jain said that for the last five days, all the members of Marwari Yuva Manch Silchar Titans are serving wholeheartedly for this noble cause and are feeling blessed by doing this selfless service and will stand by their fellow people in whatever manner possible in this difficult time.
