Man hires 180-seater plane to fly just 4 people from Bhopal to Delhi

May 28: Fear of being contaminated by travelling along with other passengers led a man to hire a plane from Bhopal to Delhi amid the COVID-19 outbreak. The 180-seater A320 plane belonging to a private carrier was hired to ferry just 4 family members. The man, learnt to have been a liquor baron chartered the flight to send to Delhi his wife, 2 children and their maid, who were stuck since the last 2 months in Bhopal due to nationwide lockdown. The cost of hiring the aircraft might have cost the man anything between Rs.10 to Rs.20 lakh.
