Makers of Sputnik V in Russia tests Covid vaccine nasal spray for children, to launch in Sept

June 14: While many have opined that the 3rd wave of coronavirus could be really dangerous for children, Russia has come up with a ray of hope for them. Russia has tested a nasal spray formof its Covid-19 vaccine that it claims suitable for children aged 8 to 12.

Alexander Gintsburg, the scientist who heads the Gameleya Institute that developed Sputnik V is associated with this nasal spray and said that this spray in all probability will be launched in September. He further claimed that during the trial, no side effects were noticed among the test group. Gintsburg said that the spray used the same vaccine only instead of needle, a nozzle is put on.
