Govt extends validity of driving license, RC, permits till 31 October

Sept 30: In a latest development, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways issued an advisory on Thursday, according to which, all states and Union Territories has been asked to extend validity of vehicle documents including driving license, registration certificate (RC) and permits till 31 October, 2021.

The advisory further stated that vehicle documents whose validity has expired since 1 February, 2020 or would expire by 31 October will come under the purview of validity extension. This will help out citizens in availing transport related services, while maintaining social distancing.
