Lowest so far since many months, only 93 tests +ve in Assam on Sunday

Nov. 16: On Sunday, out of 8,369 tests only 93 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,10,268 out of which, 3,666 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 1.11percent.

On Sunday, 389 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,05,636 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Further, during the day, 02 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 963. The deceased were identified as Haripada Barman (89) and Hakibur Rahman (73) of Kamrup Metro.
