List of Team Himanta who took oath as designated ministers on Monday
May 10: Assam Governor Prof. Hagdish Mukhi on 10 May administered the oath of office and oath of secrecy to Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma as the 15th Chief Minister of the state along with 13 legislators as designated ministers at a solemn function held at Srimanta Sankardeva International Auditorium in Guwahati.
Apart from Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma (Chief Minister), the 13 other legislators who were sworn in as designated ministers during the day are:

- Atul Bora
- UG Brahma
- Parimal Suklabaidya
- Ranoj Pegu
- Sanjay Kishan
- Jogen Mohan
- Ajanta Neog
- Ashok Singhal
- Chandra Mohan Patowary
- Keshab Mahanta
- Pijush Hazarika
- Bimal Bora

The legislators on Monday took oath in 4 different languages- Assamese, Bengali, Bodo and English. While Parimal Suklabaidya took oath in Bengali, Urkhao Gwra Brahma in Bodo and Ashok Singhal in English; Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and rest of the lesgislators sworn-in in Assamese.

Several Chief Ministers of northeastern states including Tripura’s Biplab Deb, Meghalaya’s Conrad Sangma, Manipur’s M N Biren Singh, and Nagaland’s Neiphiu Rio were present during the swearing-in ceremony on Monday. Former Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal along with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national President JP Nadda were also present.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated new Team Assam on this occasion.
