Lions Quest programme for betterment of school teachers & students held in Silchar

way2barak, Sept.7: Lions Quest Programme including two days Teachers Training Workshop and an awareness session for Lions- Leos, parents have been successfully organised in Silchar on 3rd and 4th September. Renowned Trainer of Lions Quest in India Foundation cum the Advisor of Lions Quest District 322G, Lion Prerna Agarwal remained present as the faculty of the TTW in Pranabananda Holy Child School, Silchar as well as the speaker of the awareness session in Orbit Hotel, Silchar.

Lion Prerna trained 36 teachers of the school including the principal with her excellent deliberation and presentation. The awareness session motivated the Lions and Leos to promote Lions Quest for the betterment of our children. Expecting the implementation of Lions Quest among 1000 student of the said school.

Lion Nirmal Bhura, the first VDG of Dist 322g has graced the valedictory function as the chief guest along with some other lion dignitaries. On behalf of the school Director Debasish Mukherjee, Principal Pamela Sen, Workshop in-charge Shipra Purkayastha were present and conveyed their thanks to Lions fraternity for such academic initiative.

Programme Chairperson Lion Sabyasachee Rudra Gupta delivered welcome note and vote of thanks on behalf of the organising seven clubs. Certificates from Lions Quest in India Foundation were handed over to the teacher trainees and the organisers. The organisers handed over the memento of gratitude to the resource person, school authority and the chief guest. Leo Lion Sweta Roy hosted the inaugural part of the workshop as well the awareness session. The anchor during the valedictory session was Leo Lion Debosmita Biswas.

Lions Clubs of Silchar Greater, Silchar Ananta, Silchar Royals and Silchar Dynamic jointly organised the two days Lions Quest Programme supported by Leo Clubs of Silchar Greater, Silchar Royals and Silchar Titans. On behalf of them, Lion Ipshita Dutta, Lion Rita Chakraborty, Lion Nabina Sultana Mazumder, Lion Debaraj Dhar, Leo Lion Shankar Dayal Banik, Lion Lucky Das, Leo Lion Reshab Purkayastha, Leo Lion Soumyajyoti Bhattacharjee and Leo Roushan Kumar Singh played very active role in this Lions Quest programme.
