Lions Karimganj along with the Leos observed Gandhi Jayanti

Oct. 2: On the Occasion of “Gandhi Jayanti”, Leo Club of Karimganj Youth along with its parent’s Club Lions Club of Karimganj showed their deepest respect towards Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. During the day, the members of the club offered floral tribute on the bust of the Mahatma. Some of them highlighted the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi towards making the country independent from the clutches of colonial rule.

Leo members present during the occasion were Rimu Kr Deb (President), Anirban Ghosh (Project Chairman), Sohan Biswas, Srinath Banik, & Hira Paul. The Lions who graced the occasion are Biswanath Deb (President), Sanchayita Deb (Secretary), Haran Ch Paul(Project Chairman), Shikha Dey, CA Kaushik Ranjan Dey & Santosh Kr. Jain.
