Lions Ananta org. Vision Check up Camp at Silchar

Way2barak, December 10 : Lions club of Silchar Ananta organised a Vision Check up camp on 10th December, 2024 at Monomohan Mazumder Balika Vidya Niketan High school, Subhasnagar in association with Sant Surdass Community Eye Care Centre, SAKSHAM. Optometrist, Ayan Bhuiya assisted the camp with full sincerity. In this camp maximum children were found with seasonal allergy, refractive error. Some students were also detected with migraine and sinusitis. Three students were detected with Amblyopia (lazy eye) which needs vision therapy and patching therapy.

Apart from school children seven grade IV staffs and Mid Day meal staffs were also had their vision checked. One cataract was also detected. Principal Sharmila Chowdhury took the initiative in organising the camp. The members who gave their valuable time were President, Lion Kinkini Dey Dutta, Lion Ramprasad Dutta, Treasurer and Lion Sampa Paul.
