Linking of Aadhar & Driving License to be made mandatory

January 6: Very soon, it will be mandatory to link Aadhar with driving license. This was said on Sunday by Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad. He reasoned that at present, a guilty person who causes an accident flees the scene and gets a duplicate license, helping him go scot-free. But with the lingage of Aadhar and driving license, the guilty cannot change his/her biometrics and fingerprints.

Ravi Shankar Prasad further said, “We are soon going to bring a law which will make it mandatory to link Aadhar with driving license.” Mr. Prasad said this while delivering his presidential address at the ongoing 106th Indian Science Congress at Lovely Professional University.
