Let’s go Green: Team Aahvaan begins plantation drive in municipal wards of Silchar

June 17: In an attempt to increase the green covering of our environment, Team Aahvaan (NGO) has begun a plantation drive in all the municipal wards of Silchar. On Thursday, the first tree was planted at Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Tarapur in the presence of Swami Mrinmayanandaji Maharaj, MLA Silchar Dipayan Chakraborty and members of Aahvaan. Leo Club of Silchar signature also lend their helping hand in their noble endeavour.

Present during the plantation drive on behalf of the young members of Team Aahvaan were its President-  Swarnadeep Ghosh, members- Tushar Ghose, Swarnadeep Malakar, Sanket Chakrabarty, kasturika Choudhury among others. On behalf of Leo Club of Silchar signature, its President and Secretary Leo Srimay Bhattacharjee and Leo Biprojyoti Chakraborty, Leo Mousam Mandal were present among others.
