Leo & Lions of Karimganj distributed blankets among poor people at Kaliganj

Dec. 21: In a humanitarian gesture, Leo Club of Karimganj Youth in association with Lions Club of Karimganj and Leo Club of of Kaliganj Youth distributed 50 blankets among the poor and needy people of Kaliganj.

Expressing her views Leo Mayurakhi Bhowmik, PRO of Leo Club of Karimganj Youth said, “With the nset of winter season, many poor people find it tough to sleep without blankets. Keeping this in mind, we went to Kaliganj and distributed blankets among the poor people there. We are thankful to our District President Rishab Bajaj and District Administrator Leo Rakesh Ghosh for attending the project and making the event successful. We are also very glad to have our District Governor Lion Rajkumar Ringania and many other Lion Cabinet Members with us of Lion District 322G.”

The Leo members present were Rimu Kr Deb (President), Bithika Choudhury (Secretary), Sohan Biswas (Project Chairperson), Srinath Banik, Aparna Dey, Avishek Das, Monojit Dhar, Hira Paul and Anirban Ghosh.
