Leo Club of Karimganj Youth organises Sanitary Pad Awareness Camp

Sept. 22: Leo Club of Karimganj Youth organized a Sanitary Pad Awareness Camp entitled “BOOND” on Sunday in their Club House. This project was initiated by Leo Club of Mankachar Greater. Awareness on menstruation hygiene, illness, proper use and disposal of sanitary pads was conducted among 30 female of Karimganj. Later on, sanitary napkins were also distributed among the beneficiaries. Social activist, Mayurakshi Biswas also joined the Leos in this awareness camp.

Speaking to way2barak, Leo Mayurakhi Bhowmik, Public Relationship Officer of  Leo Club of Karimganj Youth said, “The ladies who attended the awareness camp expressed satisfaction as they were briefed in details about the various aspects of menstrual  hygiene. We promise to do more such campaigns again in the near future.”
