Leo Club of Karimganj celebrates Children’s Day at Saraswati Vidya Niketan

Novemeber 14: Leo Club of Karimganj, the youth wing of Lions of Karimganj celebrated Children’s Day at Saraswati Vidya Niketan at Karnamadhu. Floral tributes were paid in the portrait of Jawaharlal Nehru, whose birthday is celebrated in the country as Children’s Day.

As a part of the celebration, various games and sports were conducted among the students of Saraswati Vidya Niketan. The students were divided into 4 groups. Students from Nursery to Class I who were in Group A participated in Chocolate Race. In Group B, students belonging to Class II to Class IV took part in Maths Race. Marble Race was played by the students belonging to Group C, who were students of Class V to Class VII. Students from Class VII to Class X who were in Group D took part in Musical Chair competition.

A total of 24 students were awarded trophies in all the 4 categories for securing 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th prizes respectively. Further, all participants were given pens and pencils in the form of consolation prizes.

The Leo Club of Karimganj was represented on the occasion by its President Srinath Banik, Project Chairman-Rimu Kumar Deb, Aparna Dey, Abhishek Chakraborty, Manojeet Dhar, Prateem Kr. Deb, Aniruddha Nandi and Biswarup Deb.
