Leo Club of Karimganj Youth celebrates Children’s Day & Diwali in a unique way

Nov. 17: Instead of observing occasions in a normal manner, Leo Club of Karimganj Youth in association with Lions Club of Karimganj celebrated both Children’s Day and Diwali in a unique way this year. On 14 November, 2020, they celebrated Children’s Day by distributing chocolates, balloons and crackers for Diwali to underprivileged children. Also to make the day special for them the Leo’s and Lions served the children lunch in their club premises. Around 150 children were served meal during the day.

Further, to mark the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Leo Club of Karimganj Youth distributed packets of diyas and oil among 50 underprivileged  families.

The Leo members present during the occasion were Rimu Kr. Deb- President, Bithika Choudhury- Sohan Biswas- Project Chairperson, Srinath Banik, Hira Paul, Aparna Dey, Ankita Das, Anirban Ghosh and Avishek Das.
