IWC Silchar visit schools in Jirighat & Jiribam, distribute materials to maintain hygiene

March 24: The members of Inner Wheel Club (IWC), Silchar visited two schools at Jirighat in Cachar district and distributed hand wash bottles, Phenol, buckets and mugs. These two schools are Jirighat A. Mitra ME school and Nandankanan Chabagan LP School. The Members of IWC, Silchar also apprised the students about maintaining clean habit and keeping the school compound clean. Edible items were distributed amongst the students and the teachers.

President of IWC Shilpi Ghosh, Silchar said, “Continuing with our school sanitization programme, we also visited the R.K. Sanatombi Devi Vidyalaya at Jiribam which has helped us in doing an inter-state project with the state of Manipur. Hand wash, Hand sanitizers, phenol, buckets and mugs were handed over to the school authorities in Jiribam for maintenance of hygiene.”

Secretary of IWC Silchar, Minu Gope said, “The members of IWC Silchar also undertook an Inner Wheel Branding Project both in Jirighat and Jiribam by distributing cloth bags to discontinue the use of plastic bags and made the public aware of the hazards of use of plastic.”
